Lake Como shipyards in
the late 800’s launched several motor boats called “Vaporinas”; long boats with sleek lines, a driving position in the bow, space in the rear for passengers, and partly covered by a glass rooftop.
Built for the upper-class, these Larian boats are a symbol of elite tourism of that era. These beautiful boats can still be seen on the lake today thinks to the expert craftsmanship of Cantiere Ernesto Riva and the technical supervisionof engineer Carlo Bertorello who have updated the Vaporina in the same classic style but with all the modern technology and comfort.
